Neelamari indigo Leaf Powder

Neelamari indigo leaf powder, also known simply as indigo powder, is a natural hair dye and hair care product derived from the leaves of the Indigofera Tinctoria plant. It offers a chemical-free alternative to synthetic hair dyes, providing a natural way to color hair black or deepen shades like brown or dark brown when used in conjunction with henna.

Natural Hair Dye: Indigo powder is a natural dye that can be used to achieve various shades of dark hair color, especially when combined with henna. It’s a great option for those who want to avoid the harsh chemicals found in conventional hair dyes.

Hair Strengthening: It is known to strengthen hair follicles, reducing hair breakage and promoting thicker, healthier hair.

Dandruff Treatment: Indigo powder has antimicrobial properties that can help soothe the scalp, reduce dandruff, and alleviate itching.

Hair Growth Promotion: Some studies suggest that indigo leaf oil can stimulate hair growth and combat hair loss, possibly by improving scalp health and blood circulation. 

How to use neelamari indigo leaf powder
Henna Treatment: Soak henna powder overnight in lukewarm water or black tea/coffee. Apply the paste to clean hair, leave it for 45-60 minutes, and rinse thoroughly with water (avoiding shampoo). Henna acts as a base color, especially for grey hair.
Indigo Application: After rinsing and drying hair, mix indigo powder with warm water to create a thick paste. Apply it section by section from roots to ends, leave on for 45 minutes to 2 hours (depending on desired intensity), and rinse with water. Avoid shampooing for the first 48 hours for better color setting. 

Important Notes:
Patch Test: It's always recommended to perform a patch test on a small section of hair before full application to check for any allergic reactions.
No Shampoo Immediately After: Avoid shampooing for at least 24-48 hours after indigo application to allow the color to fully develop.
