Glucose Monitoring System (Sensor and Reader)

FreeStyle Libre is a flash glucose monitoring system that requires a sensor to be worn on the body and a reader (or a compatible smartphone with an app) to get a glucose reading. The reader is a one-time purchase, while the sensors are replaced every 14 or 15 days, depending on the model. 

FreeStyle Libre Reader: This handheld device displays the glucose readings, trend arrows, and up to 90 days of historical data. It works by scanning the sensor with a single touch.

FreeStyle Libre Sensor: This small, wearable, water-resistant sensor is applied to the back of the upper arm and can be worn for up to 14 days. It is designed to be easily applied with a disposable applicator.
